Having a debilitating disease or injury affects individuals, lifestyles, and families. The outcome for the afflicted person is often dependence and limitation of abilities. With some of the injuries and diseases such as burns and scars, the impact is visible as well as physical. The impact of disease and injury to the patient's quality of life can result in feeling of hopelessness and helplessness, especially if traditional therapies have provided little relief or offer few options for progress. |
Adult stem cell therapies have produced
life changing outcomes for individuals located all over the
world. This innovative therapy has been used on a variety of
conditions with profound results:

Sclerosis, Stroke

While Stemedica is not directly involved in providing stem cell treatment, the
following is an overview of the experience a patient
might expect at one of the Treatment Centers licensed to use Stemedica's technology.
Most of the procedures involved in treatment require a short
stay and are non-surgical. The number of treatments required
depends upon the condition and the stage or level of impairment.
Patients requiring multiple treatments typically receive adult
stem cell therapy every six to nine months for a period of two
to three years. Recovery time from treatment is minimal however,
vocational, occupational or speech therapy is often required
depending on the patients medical condition. Patients are monitored
following treatment.
All Licenced Tratement Centers using Stemedica Stem Cells adhere
to an on-going, rigorous oversight process by Stemedica to ensure
quality and consistency in all patient treatment. |
Investigational Treatment Evaluations
- Prior to treatment, potential patients are qualified through a screening process. The process includes providing information regarding the condition and other medical information including:
- Medical History
- Disease/Condition Progress
- Previous Treatments
- Current Medications
- Medical Release Authorization
Review & Acceptance
- Once the information is received, a Clinic Manager reviews
the forms and forwards them along for inclusion consideration.
If the patient is accepted as a treatment candidate, applicable
pre-treatment diagnostics are performed to further qualify
the patient. A final review is conducted to determine the
patient's eligibility and, if accepted, a consultation is
completed with the patient and family to review logistics
and complete applicable consent documents.
Treatment Planning
- Once a patient is accepted for treatment, the planning process
for treatment begins. This includes:
- Treatment and travel planning coordination with the patient/family and the Member Treatment Center
- Adult Stem Cell preparation
- Adjustments of medications and inclusion
of adjunct therapy, physical therapy or other therapy
as necessary

the patient is monitored and evaluations are performed to mutually-determine
if additional treatments are needed and to track outcomes for
investigational purposes. The monitoring process takes place at
