Stemedica Cell Technologies, Inc.
("Stemedica") is a specialty biopharmaceutical company
that develops and manufactures innovative, best-in-class adult
stem cell products. Stemedica also certifies and licenses highly-accredited
Hospitals and Treatment Centers where patients are treated with
Stemedica's proprietary stem cell technology and patented transplantation
procedures.
Founded by Maynard Howe, PhD, Nikolai
Tankovich, MD, and Roger Howe, PhD, Stemedica was formed as
a response to a personal family tragedy. To achieve their vision
of saving, restoring and enhancing quality of life, the leaders
at Stemedica acquired the intellectual property rights to several
stem cell technologies and then invested in the enhancement
of those technologies by recruiting a diverse team of highly-trained
and respected research, medical and technology development professionals.
Stemedica utilizes proprietary
and patented technology derived from over 30 years of research
and innovation in Russia and other parts of Europe. Stemedica
is a forged collaboration between three decades of successful
adult stem cell therapies and the business development and leadership
skills that Stemedica has assembled.

Supplemental treatment applications include the use of pharmaceutical
products and medical devices such as lasers and other implantable

Stemedica's operations include
patented and proprietary adult stem cell technologies. Stemedica
uses only adult stem cells in their manufacturing processes.
Stemedica's stem cell products and services incorporate all
current good practices standards (cGMP, cGLP, cGTP). They also
follow FDA guidelines or those of the regulatory agencies in
the countries of manufacture and where Licensed Treatment Centers
are located. Stemedica maintains a singular focus on compliance,
efficacy and biosafety throughout its manufacturing and distribution
processes.
In addition to jointly identifying and introducing new options
for treating diseases and developing new therapeutic strategies
using adult stem cells, Stemedica expects to become "tissue
independent" in the near future. Being "tissue independent"
enables Stemedica to manufacture their adult stem cell products
solely from adult stem cell Master Cell Banks. These banks will
store reserves of adult stems cells ready to be deployed for
use in patient therapy through worldwide Licensed Treatment
Centers.
Treatments using Stemedica's propriety adult stem cell technology
transplantation protocols are administered through Licensed
Treatment Centers located around the world. These Centers must
pass a rigorous screening process and comply with specific guidelines
in order to be licensed by Stemedica. Centers offer patient
treatment therapies for stroke, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, ischemic
head trauma, spinal cord injury, diseases of the eye such as
age-related macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy as
well as skin, scar and bone regeneraton. |
