Thom Mount

THOM MOUNT, MFA

Thom is Chief Executive Officer of Reliant Pictures Corporation, a premier motion picture and marketing company. His early career in Hollywood was largely at Universal Pictures where he quickly rose through the studio's ranks under entertainment mogul Lew Wasserman’s direction. After three years, Thom was named President of Universal Pictures and dubbed a "Baby Mogul" by Time Magazine. During his tenure at Universal's top post, the studio posted six number one revenue grossing years. Through his reshaped motion picture and music soundtrack divisions, he contributed heavily to the increase in valuation of Universal Pictures.

Thom left Universal and founded Mount Company, growing it to become of one the industry's most successful multi-picture independent major motion picture suppliers. He has significant experience in restructuring other film companies such as RKO Pictures and Liberty Films.

He was elected and served two-terms as President of the Producers Guild of America. Throughout his career he has produced, financed, developed and supervised more than 200 major motion pictures. Thom brings his vast experience in branding, marketing, public relations and media in support of Stemedica's promotional initiatives. Mr. Mount graduated with a Master's Degree in Fine Arts from the California Institute of the Arts.
