Dirk P. O'Hara

DIRK P. O'HARA, JD

Dirk P. O'Hara is the owner of Norman Senior Care LLC and Managing Partner of Rambling Oaks Courtyard LLC's. Through these entities and others, Mr. O'Hara specializes in demographics, development, design, construction, consulting and managing assisted living residences and nursing care communities. As an attorney, Mr. O'Hara concentrates on business transactions and contracts in long term care, construction, and the oil and gas industry.

Mr. O'Hara's experience in long term care is represented in all areas of the industry. He is the past president of the Oklahoma Assisted Living Association and remains active in lobbying the legislative and rule making process regarding senior housing. Mr. O'Hara's efforts were recognized at the 2007 Assisted Living Federation of America's (ALFA) National Conference with the Chairman's Award "Champion for Seniors in Assisted Living". Mr. O'Hara also worked for Eagle Drilling LLC on two oil and gas sales transactions in excess of $100 million and was the lead in a $17.75 million sale of assisted living assets.

Dirk's non-profit work is concentrated in Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS). He worked to consolidate the BBBS agencies in Oklahoma into one statewide agency. Oklahoma is the first statewide agency for Big Brothers Big Sisters of America and is the incubator for many other states.

Dirk received a BA in Letters and a MBA/JD from The University of Oklahoma. He is active on the Board of Visitors for the College of Arts and Sciences and enjoys working in the family farming operation.
